Ukrainian forces reportedly advance up to 1.6 km near Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast over past day – video

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian assault units have advanced up to 1.6 kilometres on certain fronts within the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast.

Quote: "Despite the enemy's failed attempts to advance on some fronts, our soldiers conducted search and mop up operations over an area of 3.4 sq km in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast during the past day. Assault units advanced up to 1.6 km on certain fronts."

Details: Syrskyi particularly commended the defenders from the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment and the 253rd Battalion.

He added that, in total, 182 sq km of Ukrainian territory have been liberated from Russian occupation since the start of the Dobropillia counteroffensive operation.

Background: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier reported that Russia's military leadership had ordered its troops to urgently capture Pokrovsk following heavy Russian losses near Dobropillia in Donetsk Oblast.
