Zelenskyy to seek US gas and missiles in exchange for access to Ukraine's gas transit system and drone production – Bloomberg

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to discuss air defence, long-range weapons and urgent energy assistance during his meeting with US President Donald Trump on Friday 17 October.

Details: In return, Ukraine is expected to propose a technological partnership on drone production, including the manufacture of Ukrainian-made drones in the United States or Europe for subsequent export to meet the needs of the US military.

More details: Bloomberg's sources have said that US and Ukrainian officials have also discussed the potential export of US liquefied natural gas to help meet Ukraine's energy needs following Russian strikes.

In addition, Ukraine plans to offer the United States access to its gas transit system for exporting energy supplies to Slovakia and Hungary, two countries still dependent on Russian imports.
