Details: Power was restored after repairs were completed on the 750kV Dniprovska transmission line. Work is still ongoing on the 330kV Ferosplavna line.

The minister said that during the outage, the safety of Europe's largest nuclear power plant relied entirely on emergency diesel generators.

Quote: "This created an unprecedented threat to nuclear and radiation safety, not only for Ukraine but for the entire European continent."

More details: Hrynchuk added that the month-long power outage was caused by Russian occupation forces, who have repeatedly shelled and damaged the transmission lines connecting the plant to Ukraine's unified power grid.

Background: Ukrainian engineers have restored power lines to the plant 42 times since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion.
