"They're destroying Ukraine's cultural elite": number of artists and media workers killed since 2022 revealed

A total of 236 artists and 114 Ukrainian and foreign media workers have been killed because of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Details: On 23 October, it was reported that war correspondent Olena Hubanova and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin from the Freedom TV channel had been killed while covering events in Donetsk Oblast.

Their car was hit by a Russian Lancet drone. Another journalist, Oleksandr Kolychev, was taken to hospital following the attack.
