Below are the main missile models, the number of items ordered for the specified period, and their specifications:

  • 9M723-1F2 – over 770 items (approx. US$2.4 million each). This version features an upgraded detonation and fragmentation system that improves effectiveness against area targets.
  • 9M723-1F1 – 59 items (approx. US$3 million each). The basic version of the missile; it is equipped with a penetrating high-explosive warhead and steel elements intended to target personnel and equipment.
  • 9M723-1F3 – 217 items (approx. US$2.3-2.9 million each, depending on year of procurement). This version also has a penetrating high-explosive warhead and an updated shell design.
  • 9M723-1K5 – 185 items (approx. US$3 million each). A modification with a cluster warhead designed to strike wide areas, personnel in open terrain and lightly armoured vehicles.

In addition, according to KNDISE analytical data, the Iskander-M arsenal also includes the following missiles:

  • 9M723-1B – a version with a special AA106-type warhead. It has standard series dimensions (7.2 m length and 3.8 t launch mass) and a reduced warhead weight of about 410 kg.
  • 9M723-1F – considered an early modification of the base 9M723-1F1 version. It is a refined model adapted to modern production requirements and combat tasks.
  • 9M723-1F4 – the latest version with enhanced fragmentation-high-explosive warhead characteristics. It reportedly features an updated shell design and improved detonation mechanism to increase effectiveness against area and fortified targets. The technical parameters remain standard, though the warhead may contain a modified explosive composition.

Background: Militarnyi previously reported that Atesh partisans obtained data on the production of components for Iskander and Kalibr missiles in Kazan.
