Zelenskyy announces meeting of Ukrainian and EU advisers to discuss plan to end war

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukrainian and EU advisers will meet on 31 October or 1 November to discuss the outlines of a plan to end the Russo-Ukrainian war.

Background:
- Earlier, Zelenskyy told Axios that Russian ruler Vladimir Putin is unlikely to accept a peace proposal currently being developed by the Coalition of the Willing.
- During a meeting in London on 24 October, members of the Coalition of the Willing agreed on a plan for Ukraine that includes strengthening air defence and unlocking frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.
- Zelenskyy said the Coalition of the Willing has agreed on decisions that will increase pressure on Russia.
