Russia drops over 5,300 guided bombs on Ukraine in October, setting monthly record
Russian forces have sharply increased the number of guided aerial bomb strikes on Ukrainian territory in October 2025.

Details: The ministry reported that over the course of the month, the Russians dropped more than 5,328 guided aerial bombs (GABs) on Ukrainian defence force positions and frontline cities.
"This is the highest number of GABs dropped in a single month since the beginning of 2025," the statement reads.
The Ministry of Defence noted that air terror is intensifying. In the past 10 months alone, Russian forces have dropped around 40,000 aerial bombs – the same number as in all of last year.
Background: On 2 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that within one week, the Russians had used nearly 1,500 attack drones, 1,170 guided aerial bombs, and over 70 missiles to strike Ukraine.
