About 5,000 people still living in Kostiantynivka – Donetsk Oblast Military Administration
Roughly 5,000 people continue to live in the frontline town Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast, while the total population of the Kostiantynivka hromada stands at about 5,200. Details: The local authorities are continuing to evacuate the population, even though the people are only leaving one by one, Petlin reported. He explains that logistics are rather complicated as most destinations are under constant attack.
Quote: "Special transportation is still being used to evacuate from Kostiantynivka… Logistics are challenging, everything is under fire, but the situation is not as difficult as in Pokrovsk or Myrnohrad."
Background: As of late August, Donetsk Oblast's front-line city of Kostiantynivka had a population of 6,800 people, despite ongoing Russian shelling.
