Quote: "I have signed several new sanctions decisions. We continue synchronising partner sanctions within Ukraine's jurisdiction, and the EU's 19th sanctions package against Russia for this war is now in effect in Ukraine."
Details: Zelenskyy said the measures target Russian resource exports and supply chains delivering electronic components to Russia. He added that the overall hit to Russia's earnings from the 19th sanctions package is estimated to be at least tens of billions of euros a year.
Quote: "We are also enacting our new sanctions targeting Russian entities involved in resource extraction in the Arctic, which contributes to funding Russia's ability to wage war."
More details: Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine's partners will extend this approach by incorporating Ukrainian proposals into their sanctions packages.
He also instructed the National Security and Defence Council to develop new measures based on the relevant proposals concerning Russian propaganda actors, military production entities and collaborators.
Ukraine will also be responding to Russian sanctions against Ukraine's prime minister and other government officials.
The new sanctions decrees have not yet been published on the president's official website.
