Defence Forces of Ukraine's South deny that Russians captured Pavlivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Defence Forces of Ukraine's South have stated that the settlements in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts have not been captured by Russian troops, but there are attempts of infiltration. Fierce fighting continues in the Pavlivka sector, and a grey zone is being held in the Plavni area.

Quote: "Fierce fighting continues in the area of the village of Pavlivka, where one of our heroic brigades is holding the defence. Fighting is also ongoing in the area of the village of Plavni, where a grey zone is being held. Near the village of Primorske, the Russians are trying to get into our flank through the former Kakhovka Reservoir, where lush vegetation grows and reeds are several metres high, but the defence forces are wiping them out."
Details: The spokesman for Ukraine's Southern Defence Forces denied reports by the DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, about the Russian occupation of Pavlivka in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast in a comment to UP. "Pavlivka is not occupied," he said.
According to the report, the Russians also destroyed several positions with firepower in the area of the village of Uspenivka, forcing Ukrainian soldiers to retreat deeper into their defences, but fighting for the village is ongoing.
Moreover, the Russians, taking advantage of the weather conditions (there has been thick fog in Zaporizhzhia Oblast for several days), tried to infiltrate deep into Ukraine's defences across Ukrainian positions.
"But in these areas of the front line, we are constantly conducting search and strike operations and destroying enemy sabotage groups. Over the past day, the enemy has lost more than two hundred personnel in the south," the report says.
Background: Earlier, the DeepState group reported that the Russians had occupied the village of Pavlivka in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast and had also advanced near six other settlements.
