Russia attacks Ukraine with drones, injuring civilians and damaging infrastructure

A Russian attack on the night of 9-10 November has left two people injured in Sumy Oblast, while civilian infrastructure was damaged in Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa oblasts.

Details: In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian troops attacked the Synelnykove district and the town of Nikopol with drones overnight.

Firefighters quickly extinguished all the blazes and no casualties were reported.

In Sumy Oblast, two people were injured as a result of a Russian attack on the night of 9-10 November.

Significant damage to civilian infrastructure was also reported. Three apartment buildings, seven houses, four warehouse facilities, power lines, two garages, an outbuilding and both a car and a lorry were damaged.

On the morning of 10 November, another Russian drone attack was recorded in Odesa Oblast, damaging a civilian facility.

The façade of a four-storey residential building caught fire, but firefighters promptly contained the blaze. No reports of fatalities or injuries have been received.

Background: Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 2 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, 5 S-300/S-400 surface-to-air guided missiles and 67 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones since the evening of 9 November. Ukrainian air defence forces managed to destroy 52 of these drones.
