Quote: "Ukraine's defence forces have managed to halt the enemy's advance. We are now blocking their movement and inflicting comprehensive fire damage. Our forces are actively conducting strike and search operations, as the enemy continues infiltration attempts, trying to enter the depth of Ukrainian defence covertly."
Details: Voloshyn said firefights were also recorded near the village of Solodke, where the Russians suffered losses.
Quote: "The situation on the Huliaipole front is quite difficult, as it is on the Oleksandrivka and Orikhiv fronts. The enemy tried to bring consolidation groups into the settlements from which the defence forces moved to more advantageous positions. In addition, the enemy continues intense fire pressure on Ukrainian positions."
More details: Voloshyn added that more than 400 Russian artillery strikes were recorded over the past day, using over 1,500 munitions. Russians troops actively deployed over 1,000 kamikaze drones.
The spokesman stressed that in the south of the country, the Oleksandrivka front remains the most active, where Ukrainian forces repelled 15 attacks in one day. "During the assault on Verbove, the enemy used quad bikes and ATVs," he said.
Ukrainian forces repelled six attacks on the Huliaipole front. Russian forces made five attempts to advance on the Orikhiv front.
The Defence Forces of Ukraine's South reported that enemy losses in their area of responsibility over the past 24 hours amounted to approximately 240 personnel, 1 tank, 1 Buk-M3 air defence system, 1 Osa surface-to-air missile system, 4 artillery systems, 22 vehicles, 2 electronic warfare systems, 1 radar station, 1 quad bike, 5 motorcycles, 1 ATV, 3 electric scooters, 1 piece of engineering equipment and 3 communication antennas. Thirty-seven personnel shelters were destroyed.
