Ukrainian forces have struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in Russia's Samara Oblast.

Details: Explosions and a fire were recorded in the target area. The extent of the damage is not yet known.

Ukrainian defenders also struck a UAV storage point of Russia's Rubikon unit and a fuel and lubricants pumping station in the occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast.

The updated assessment of the earlier strike on the Ryazan oil refinery indicates damage to oil-processing units, a petroleum products storage tank and a pipeline rack.

For reference: The Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery processes 8.8 million tonnes of crude annually, producing more than 20 types of commercial products, and is used to support the Russian forces.

Background: On 15 November, Ukrainian forces struck the oil refinery in the Russian city of Ryazan.
