Ukraine wins first-ever European Championship gold in aerobic gymnastics – video

Ukrainian athlete Anastasiia Kurashvili has won the gold medal in the women's individual event at the European Championships in aerobic gymnastics.

Details: Kurashvili scored 20.050 in the final, edging out Türkiye's Ayşe Onbaşı by 0.50 points to claim first place.

In addition, Anastasiia and fellow Ukrainian athlete Stanislav Halaida won silver in the mixed pairs event, finishing behind the duo of Vladimir Dolamatov and Madina Mustafaeva, who represented Azerbaijan.

This victory marks Ukraine's first-ever gold at the European Championships. Kurashvili had previously won silver in 2023, which was the country's best result until now.

Recently, Kurashvili and Halaida won a historic bronze in aerobic gymnastics at the 2025 World Games. This was Ukraine's first-ever medal at the World Games.
