Zelenskyy arrived in Türkiye last night with head of office Yermak in delegation

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Türkiye on the night of 18-19 November, where he was met by Turkish officials and Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC).

Details: Zelenskyy was met by Turkish officials upon his arrival in Ankara last night. A source within the Ukrainian delegation told European Pravda that Yermak travelled to Türkiye together with Zelenskyy.

Earlier, the National Security and Defence Council had stated that as of 18 November, Umierov was on a previously scheduled official trip from 11 to 19 November. His itinerary covers Türkiye, Qatar, the UAE and the United States.

Diana Davitian, spokesperson for the NSDC secretary, told Ukrainska Pravda that Umierov will return to Ukraine from his overseas trip on 20 November.

Yermak's presence in the Ukrainian delegation comes amid the fallout from Operation Midas – a high-profile anti-corruption investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Ukrainska Pravda has reported that key figures close to Zelenskyy have advised him to dismiss Yermak following the revelations.

Yermak confirmed he has arrived in Türkiye as part of Zelenskyy's delegation. He said all the meetings are taking place as scheduled and in a good working atmosphere.

"I remain in constant contact with representatives of Donald Trump's administration, in particular with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. Together with our American partners, we are working to end Russian aggression against Ukraine and to achieve a just and lasting peace," Yermak said.
