The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (Ukrainian government) has appointed Liudmyla Suhak as acting Minister of Justice following the dismissal of Herman Halushchenko.

Details: Prior to this appointment, Suhak served as Deputy Minister of Justice for European Integration under Halushchenko.

Background: The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) voted to dismiss Herman Halushchenko from the post of justice minister on 19 November. A total of 323 MPs voted for his dismissal.
