Former Ukraine ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova has said that she was not offered the post of head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

More details: On 19 November, Censor.net, a Ukrainian news portal, citing a source close to the Office of the President, and on 20 November, hromadske, a Ukrainian public broadcaster, citing a source in the Servant of the People party, reported that Markarova had refused an offer to lead the Office of the President in place of Andrii Yermak.

Markarova dismissed the claim in her comment to Ukrainska Pravda.

  • On 14 November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Markarova. Reports said that he thanked her for her service to the Ukrainian state and they discussed possible areas for future cooperation.
