Background: The Ukrainian parliament voted on 19 November to dismiss Halushchenko from the post of justice minister. He did not appear at the meeting of the parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission on economic security concerning the high-profile Operation Midas investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
