Kremlin claims it has received no official US "peace plan" and is unwilling to discuss it
The Kremlin has claimed it has not officially received any new US proposals on ending the war in Ukraine.

Details: Peskov said that the Russian leadership is aware of the existence of "possible modifications and approved wording" but "has received nothing officially".
"There are certain considerations from the American side, but nothing is being discussed substantively at this stage. We are fully open and remain open to peace negotiations," Peskov added.
He was also asked how the Russian side views the peace plan provisions published by the media outlets. Peskov replied that he was not prepared to conduct negotiations on such a complex topic "in a megaphone mode". Meanwhile, he said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy must make a decision on the proposal now: "He must take a responsible decision, do it now and assume responsibility."
Background:
- Axios, citing a draft document and confirmations from Ukrainian and US officials, reported details of the 28-point "peace plan" proposed by US President Donald Trump's administration, under which Ukraine would have to relinquish part of its territory, limit the size of its army, and enshrine in the Constitution a refusal to join NATO.
- On 20 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had officially received the draft plan from the United States, which, according to the US side, may help reinvigorate diplomacy.
- Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, has denied "approving" a new US peace deal, stressing that the Ukrainian government is carefully reviewing partners' proposals within Ukraine's unchanged principles.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy may hold a conversation with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, next week regarding the "peace plan" to resolve the Russo–Ukrainian war.
