Power engineers restore power to over 10,000 consumers in Odesa Oblast after Russian attacks

More than 10,000 consumers in Odesa Oblast have had their electricity restored after Russian attacks.

Details: A total of 10,097 consumers in Odesa Oblast were left without power following a Russian attack on the night of 22-23 November.

"As of this morning, we have managed to restore electricity to all homes that were cut off due to the strikes. Repairs to equipment are ongoing," DTEK said.

Background:

  • On the night of 22-23 November, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 98 drones, around 60 of which were Shaheds. Ukraine's Air Force reported that 69 of the drones had been shot down or jammed.
  • Russian forces struck energy infrastructure facilities in Odesa Oblast with drones, causing fires there and in a non-operating industrial building, all of which were promptly extinguished by firefighters.
