The United States is getting very close to a "peace deal" with Ukraine on ending the war, US President Donald Trump has said at the traditional Thanksgiving turkey pardon ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.

Details: Trump also said that "I think we're getting very close to a deal, we'll find out... I think we're making progress."
