Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council and the head of the Ukrainian delegation, has described Sunday's talks in Florida with US representatives as difficult but productive and later reported the results to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Updated: Umierov said at 23:13 that he had briefed Zelenskyy on the outcome of the talks in the United States.

"We have achieved substantial progress in moving towards a dignified peace and in converging our positions with the American side. Our key objectives – security, sovereignty, and a reliable peace – remain unchanged and are shared by the American side. Ahead lies the continuation of consultations and work on coordinating a joint framework solution with the American side," he wrote.

Previously: Talks between Ukrainian and US representatives in Florida have concluded and both sides described them as productive.
