Russians hit Dnipro with missile: 3 killed, 8 injured

Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city of Dnipro on Monday 1 December, killing three people and injuring another eight.

Quote from Haivanenko: "There has been a missile attack on Dnipro. All details are being confirmed. Please remain in safe places until the all-clear is given."

Details: Suspilne Dnipro reported that emergency service sirens could be heard in the city as crews head to the scene of the strike.

Local social media accounts have published photos and videos of the people injured in the attack. There are also many broken windows and glass debris near the explosion site in Dnipro.

The authorities have not yet officially announced any details about the attack.

Updated: Later, Haivanenko said: "Today, the enemy carried out a missile strike on Dnipro. At the moment, three people are known to have been killed. There are casualties – early reports indicate that eight people have been injured. A search and rescue operation is ongoing."

Haivanenko said that a car service station and some business facilities had been hit. The area is being examined and the aftermath is being confirmed.
