The Russian leader Vladimir Putin has begun an evening meeting in the Kremlin with Steve Witkoff, special envoy of the US president, and Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law.

Details: The meeting is set to discuss Donald Trump's "peace plan". Also present on the Russian side are Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev and his aide Yuri Ushakov.
