Details: Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska met with the families of Irish military volunteers Graham Dale, Robert Deegan and Alex Ryzhuk, who were killed in action in the war against Russia.
During the meeting, the president expressed his condolences to their families and presented them in person with the Order For Courage, Third Class, which was awarded posthumously to the soldiers.
Zelenskyy thanked the families for raising sons who, despite living far from Ukraine, stood up to defend it. He emphasised that Ukrainians hold the bravery and sacrifice of the Irish soldiers in the highest regard.
