Emergency power outages begin across several Ukrainian regions

Emergency power cuts have been introduced in Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad oblasts.

Quote: "The previously published outage schedules in these regions are temporarily suspended. Emergency power cuts will be lifted as soon as the situation in the energy system stabilises."

Details: As a result of previous large-scale missile and drone attacks, consumption-limiting measures are being enforced today in all other regions of Ukraine.

In addition, on the night of 4-5 December, the Russians attacked energy facilities in several regions.

• On 5 December, electricity consumption-limiting measures will be applied across all regions of Ukraine.
• As of the morning of 5 December, consumers in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa oblasts remain without electricity due to Russian strikes on the energy infrastructure.
