Background:
- On Thursday, the Ukrainian negotiating delegation and Trump's team concluded the latest round of talks on the US "peace plan" in Florida. The Ukrainian delegation was led by Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, and included Andrii Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- The meeting in Florida took place shortly after the American negotiating team met with Russian ruler Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on Tuesday.
- NATO intelligence does not indicate that Putin is ready for a peace agreement.
- NATO officials believe Putin is bluffing when he says Russia is ready to fight a war with Europe.
