Nighttime Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast: train station and depot destroyed, homes damaged, 3 injured – photos

The Fastiv, Vyshhorod and Bucha districts of Kyiv Oblast came under a large-scale Russian attack on the night of 5-6 December, leaving three people injured.

Details: The State Emergency Service reported that fires had broken out and damage occurred at the railway station and the rolling stock maintenance depot in Fastiv.

Debris from a UAV caused a fire in a warehouse in the village of Novi Petrivtsi covering 5,500 sq m. In addition, three lorries caught fire, one residential building was destroyed and six houses were damaged.

A fire and structural damage occurred in a house in the village of Nezhylovychi in the Bucha district.

Work to deal with the aftermath of the attack is ongoing.

Kalashnyk reported that a woman aged 46 had been hospitalised with shrapnel wounds to her arm, chest and back as well as blunt cervical spine injury as a result of the attack on the Vyshhorod district.

Another woman, aged 40, suffered a laceration to her cheek. She received treatment at the scene without hospitalisation.

A man aged 42 was injured in Fastiv, suffering a laceration to his left shin. There was no need for hospitalisation.

All those affected have received the necessary medical treatment.
