Russia launches large-scale attack on energy facilities in Poltava Oblast
Russian forces attacked the energy sector of Poltava Oblast on the night of 6-7 December. Direct hits and damage to technical equipment have been reported; some areas are experiencing disruptions to heating and water supply.

Quote: "Last night, the Russians carried out a large-scale combined attack on Poltava Oblast using missiles and UAVs. Several facilities of the energy sector in the Kremenchuk district came under fire."
Details: Kohut said fires broke out as a result of direct hits and falling debris. Technical equipment was damaged.
Debris from a Russian drone also damaged an outbuilding on the grounds of a household. No reports of casualties have been received.
"The attack caused disruptions to heating and water supply in several areas of the hromada. All relevant services are dealing with the aftermath of the strike," Kohut said. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
