Russian drones strike sports school in Sumy Oblast while children are training
Russian forces have hit a sports school in the city of Shostka in Sumy Oblast with attack drones while children were training.

Details: All the children and their coaches were quickly evacuated to a safe place.
According to early reports, everyone is alive and no one was injured.
Hryhorov added that Russian forces also shelled the Seredyna-Buda hromada in Sumy Oblast with mortars, injuring a 76-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Background: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told journalists on 11 December that the plan to end the war that Ukraine is developing with its partners envisages the withdrawal of Russian troops from the small areas they have managed to occupy in Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
