Ukraine's foreign minister calls Orbán Russia's most valuable frozen asset in Europe

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has reacted to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's outrage over the EU decision on frozen Russian assets.
Source: Sybiha on X (Twitter), as reported by European Pravda
Details: Sybiha reposted a comment by Orbán on X, in which the Hungarian prime minister lashed out at Brussels' policy.
Orbán tweeted, "Bypassing Hungary and raping European law in broad daylight, the Brusselians are making moves to seize frozen Russian assets – a declaration of war. Meanwhile, they demand €135 billion more from member states to fuel the conflict. Hungary will not play along in this twisted Brusselian scheme."
"Russia's most valuable frozen asset in Europe," Sybiha commented, evidently referring to Orbán.
Background:
- On 12 December, European Union ambassadors approved a decision to freeze Russian assets held in Europe for an indefinite period.
- EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarína Mathernová said that following Friday's decision by the European Union, Russia would not gain access to its Central Bank's frozen assets held in Europe even through "back doors".
