Sub Sea Baby drones hit a Russian Project 636.3 Varshavyanka-class submarine (Nato designation: Kilo). The operation was carried out by fighters of the SSU's 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence, together with the Ukrainian Navy.

Quote: "As a result of the explosion, the submarine suffered critical damage and has effectively been put out of action. The submarine carried four Kalibr cruise missile launchers, which the enemy uses to strike Ukrainian territory."

More details: The Security Service has said the Varshavyanka submarine is worth about US$400 million and that international sanctions may have pushed the cost of building such a vessel up to US$500 million. It has also said that the hull can absorb sound and remain hard to detect by sonar.

Quote: "The damaged submarine was forced to remain in Novorossiysk due to successful special operations by Sea Baby surface maritime drones, which pushed Russian ships and submarines out of Sevastopol Bay in temporarily occupied Crimea.
