Kremlin says it does not yet know outcome of US, Ukraine and Europe talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that the Kremlin has not yet received any signals about the outcome of talks in Europe on a settlement regarding Ukraine.

Details: Peskov said that before a new round of talks between Russia and the United States can take place, Moscow needs to get an understanding of the results of consultations held by Washington, Kyiv and European countries.
"First we need to see what is produced as a result of those talks the Americans are holding with the Ukrainians with the participation of the Europeans," Peskov said, when asked when the next round of Russia-US negotiations should be expected.
Background:
- After two days of talks in Europe with the US delegation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he hopes to meet with his US counterpart Donald Trump.
- He said that after the Ukrainian documents are finalised, the US is expected to hold consultations with the Russians in the coming days.
