Background:

  • During the journey, Zelenskyy held an online briefing with journalists, answering several questions. He said that if the EU fails to agree on funding for Ukraine, it will leave the country in a more vulnerable position and threaten the prospects for a diplomatic solution
  • Zelenskyy also highlighted three difficult issues in talks over a potential peace agreement in the Russo-Ukrainian war, including the "reparations loan" and temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
