Details: Moldovan border guards said that at about 16:00 Russian drones struck a bridge on the Odesa-Reni roadway near the Ukrainian village of Maiaky.
Quote: "The Border Police informs citizens that the operation of the Palanca-Maiaky-Udobne and Tudora-Starokozache checkpoints has been suspended. We recommend that citizens avoid travel to the specified area and exercise increased caution."
Details: Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa Oblast Military Administration, reported that a woman was killed when a Russian drone struck a civilian car, while her three children were taken to hospital with injuries and an acute stress reaction.
After multiple attacks on the bridge across Zatoka and the forced closure of that route, the road via Maiaky remained the only road link between the city of Odesa and the south of Odesa Oblast. However, as it briefly passes through Moldovan territory, traffic on this route has already been complicated.
It is currently unknown how severe the damage to the Dniester Bridge crossing in Maiaky is.
