Quote: "The attacks do not stop. After 08:00, we recorded another attack on the Pivdennyi port and there were hits on storage tanks. Medical teams, rescue workers and bomb disposal units are working at the scene. All necessary emergency crews deployed.
The enemy is deliberately destroying the logistics infrastructure of Odesa Oblast and terrorising civilians, trying to cut the links in the south of Ukraine. Despite the constant strikes, work in the oblast continues to deal with the aftermath of large-scale attacks.
At night the enemy carried out a ballistic strike on a port in Odesa. Sadly, the death toll has now risen to 8 and about 30 people have been injured."
Details: Kuleba reported that despite the constant risks, port workers continue operating, ensuring the continuity of maritime logistics.
The work is also ongoing to keep logistics running after an attack on a bridge in the area of the settlement of Maiaky.
Quote: "The key point is that residents of Odesa Oblast have transport links and access to all necessary goods and services.
Passage is being ensured for emergency services, food deliveries, postal operators and other urgent transport. Ukrposhta [Ukraine's national postal service] delivers parcels, pensions and social payments on time."
More details: Kuleba said that alternative transport routes are in place to maintain border logistics and links between Odesa Oblast and other oblasts.
He added that all border crossing points are operating and there are no significant vehicle queues. To keep passenger travel running smoothly, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), Ukraine's state-run railway operator, is adding extra carriages on services to Chişinău from the cities of Odesa and Kyiv; tickets are already on sale and the situation is being constantly monitored.
Kuleba also reported that Ukrzaliznytsia, the State Agency for Restoration and international partners are involved in the work. He added that the government has been in touch with sector representatives and the business community and that all are ready to support the response.
Quote: "For security reasons we can't communicate all details publicly. The humanitarian situation in the oblast remains stable. We are working on this around the clock."
