Champion named best online media outlet of 2025 by Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine

The Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine has named the Champion online portal the best electronic media outlet of 2025.

Details: The honorary award at the ceremony was received on stage by Stanislav Lysak, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Champion.

In the jury voting, Champion outpaced such well-known Ukraine's online outlets as Sport.ua and Tribuna. The Ukraine Best Athletes/Ukraine Sport Media Award ceremony is currently taking place in Kyiv.

Champion's editors are also competing for individual honours. Champion reporter Roman Synchuk has been nominated for Sports Journalist of the Year, and Stanislav Lysak is in the running for Best Young Journalist.

For reference, based on the results of 2024, the Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine also recognised Champion as the best sports electronic media outlet.

In September, the sports news agency celebrated its 25th birthday.
