Russian attack on Kyiv: weapons debris lands near residential building in Sviatoshynskyi district

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has reported that weapons debris fell near a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district following a Russian attack on the city.

Details: Klitschko said that early reports indicated that windows on the fourth floor had been damaged.

Emergency services are on their way to the scene.

Background: A large-scale air-raid warning has been issued across Ukraine on the morning of 23 December. Russian forces are conducting a combined attack using cruise missiles and drones. Air defence systems were responding in Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
