Russian forces attacked Ukraine's oil and gas infrastructure on the night of 23-24 December.

Quote: "For the second day in a row, Russia has deliberately targeted oil and gas infrastructure. In total, over the past two days, nearly 100 Shahed attack drones have been used against Ukrnafta's production facilities."

Details: Koretskyi said critical damage has been caused to the energy system and the operation of equipment has been halted.

Emergency services and Ukrnafta specialists are working to deal with the aftermath of the attacks. Repair work will begin immediately afterwards.

Background: On the night of 22-23 December, during a combined attack, the Russians struck production facilities belonging to Ukrnafta, Ukraine's state-run oil company, which is part-owned by Naftogaz.
