Ukraine's General Staff confirms strikes on rubber plant in Russia's Tula Oblast and sea drone storage site

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that overnight strikes hit a synthetic rubber plant in Russia's Tula Oblast, as well as a storage site for unmanned surface vessels in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Details: The General Staff said the strikes were carried out "as part of the systematic reduction of the Russian aggressor's military and economic potential".
Quote: "Facilities of the Yefremov Synthetic Rubber Plant were struck in the city of Yefremov, Tula Oblast, Russian Federation. The plant specialises in the production of components for plastic explosives and solid rocket propellant. Explosions and a large-scale fire were recorded at the production site.
A storage and maintenance facility for unmanned surface vessels was also struck in the area of Myrne in temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea.
The extent of the damage is being confirmed."
Details: The General Staff also said that a regiment-level logistics depot was hit in Dovzhansk in temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast and noted that "strikes were recorded against a number of air defence assets and clusters of enemy personnel in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine".
Background: On the night of 23-24 December, monitoring channels reported a series of explosions in the city of Yefremov in Russia's Tula Oblast, followed by a fire near a local synthetic polymers plant.
