Quote: "We have integrated digital fibre-optic communications with a Full HD camera and CRSF control. There is also an option to switch control via a relay and a Mavic if the fibre-optic connection is lost."
Details: The Bambetel ground robotic system has been created in co-operation with KB Megatech, a Ukrainian engineering and design company focused on R&D, project development, and tech solutions. The drone is low-profile, has high cross-country capability and can cover long distances while carrying a payload.
The developers say that the fibre-optic solution and a back-up radio channel increase the drone's survivability.
Bambetel has a range of up to 20 kilometres. Its maximum speed is up to 15 km/h. The power unit is based on an electric motor. Maximum payload reaches 20 kilograms. The system weighs 25 kilograms.

The developers say the combined communications system allows the ground robot to be used even in difficult conditions, including in the presence of electronic warfare.
Background: It was reported earlier that the Droid NW 40 ground robotic system made by Ukrainian company DevDroid completed codification in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The company's ground drone provides effective engagement of lightly armoured targets and personnel, with an engagement range of up to 1.5 km. It also supports six types of communications.
