Russian forces conducted 705 strikes on 25 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the past day. Five people have been injured in the attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia.

Details: Fedorov said that Russian troops had conducted 19 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia and several other settlements in the oblast, including Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Ternuvate and Vozdvyzhivtsi.

In addition, Russian forces launched 406 drones of various types, most of them FPV drones. More than a dozen settlements came under UAV attacks.

Five strikes from multiple-launch rocket systems and 275 artillery attacks on hromadas across the oblast were also recorded. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

A total of 248 reports of damage to residential buildings, cars and infrastructure facilities were received over the same period.

Background: Russian forces conducted another attack on Zaporizhzhia on the night of 23-24 December, dropping three aerial bombs on the city. The strike hit residential areas, causing fires and injuring four people.
