Emergency power outages introduced in Odesa due to equipment damage

Details: According to the City Military Administration, the night in Odesa passed calmly. DTEK, the largest private energy company in Ukraine, continues local repair and restoration works.
Invincibility centres are operating in the city and are reported to be fully equipped with everything necessary. Municipal and emergency services are working in an enhanced mode. Background:
The emergency caused by a large-scale Russian attack on energy infrastructure in Odesa O last has been granted the status of a national-level emergency.
- On the night of 13 December, Russian forces carried out a large-scale combined attack on Odesa using attack drones and missiles. Authorities reported damage to civilian facilities as well as energy and industrial infrastructure.
- On the evening of 12 December, Russian forces struck Odesa and the oblast with ballistic missiles and drones. A civilian vessel in the port of Chornomorsk was damaged, and one person was injured. The vessel belongs to a Turkish company. Civilian and port infrastructure was also damaged.
- In Odesa Oblast, officials are working on launching a compensation programme for businesses that independently provide backup power supply.
