Eight people injured in Russian attacks on Sumy and Kherson oblasts, including 17-year-old girl

Russian attacks have left three people injured in Kherson Oblast and five in Sumy Oblast, including a 17-year-old young woman and a 20-year-old young man.

Details: Prokudin reported that Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Beryslav and other settlements in the oblast had come under drone attacks, airstrikes and artillery fire.
Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure and residential areas. Two apartment buildings and three homes were damaged. In addition, an office building and a car were affected.
Updated: Police reported that Russian forces had conducted 47 attacks on Sumy Oblast, hitting 39 settlements. A Russian drone struck a car in the Sumy hromada, injuring a 17-year-old young woman and a 20-year-old man. The attacks also damaged two homes, a car and a petrol station. A 53-year-old man was injured and a lorry damaged in the Buryn hromada.
A postal worker was injured and two cars damaged in the Seredyna-Buda hromada.
A 56-year-old woman was injured and three apartment buildings, an office building and a car damaged in the Trostianets hromada.
Russian attacks on the Bilopillia hromada damaged a lorry and a trailer.
Authorities are documenting the damage and have launched criminal investigations under Article 438 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code (war crimes).
Background:
- On the evening of 24 December, Russia attacked critical infrastructure in the city of Kharkiv and Sumy and Cherkasy oblasts, leaving one person injured.
