Battlefield sees 151 combat clashes over past day, 36 recorded on Pokrovsk front – General Staff

A total of 151 combat clashes with the Russians were recorded along the front line on 24 December. Of these, 36 occurred on the Pokrovsk front and 21 on the Huliaipole front.

On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, 2 combat clashes occurred over the past day. In addition, the Russians conducted 3 airstrikes, dropped 6 aerial bombs, and conducted 140 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including 4 using multiple-launch rocket systems.

On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians launched 10 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units near six settlements.

On the Kupiansk front, five attacks by the occupiers were recorded over the day. Defence forces repelled Russian assault actions towards Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove and Kupiansk.

On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted seven attacks, attempting to advance near six settlements.

On the Sloviansk front, the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions six times near three settlements.

On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians conducted no offensive actions.

On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians carried out 16 attacks near seven settlements.

On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders stopped 36 Russian assault and offensive actions near 13 settlements.

On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions 13 times near eight settlements.

On the Huliaipole front, the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 21 times near two settlements.

On the Orikhiv front, the Russians made one attempt to break through Ukrainian defences towards Pavlivka, but were repelled.

On the Prydniprovske front, three Russian attacks ended unsuccessfully for them.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
