Woman injured in Russian attack on Kyiv dies in hospital

A woman who sustained injuries in a Russian drone attack on Kyiv on 23 December has died in hospital.

Quote: "The woman sustained shrapnel wounds to her head in the Sviatoshynskyi district as a result of a drone attack on Kyiv and was taken to hospital in a critical condition. She later died from her injuries."

Background: During the Russian attack on Kyiv on the morning of 23 December, drone debris fell near a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. At the time, authorities reported that five people were injured, including a child. One person was in a serious condition.
