Russia's Foreign Ministry says talks on ending war are "slowly but moving forward"

Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia's Foreign Ministry, has said that there is "slow but confident movement forward" in the negotiation process on ending the war in Ukraine.

Details: Zakharova also claimed that efforts in talks with the United States are being "torpedoed" by Western European states.

Background: On 24 December, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev had already briefed Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the talks on Ukraine in Miami.
