Soloists Olha Terletska and Arina Koroletska performed together with members of the Royal Opera Chorus, the King's Harpist Mared Pugh-Evans and military musicians from the Royal Air Force Regiment, Royal Marines and the Household Division.

"It was a great honour for our choir to take part in the King's Christmas broadcast. Our choir remains a powerful voice for the Ukrainian community in the UK, many of whom have been forced to leave their homes because of the war," said Bohdan Parashchak, musical director and chief conductor of Songs for Ukraine choir.

The address can be listened to on the Royal Family's official YouTube channel.

Ukrainian choir Songs for Ukraine was created in spring 2023 by the Royal Opera House in response to Russia's full-scale invasion. Around 130 Ukrainians have joined it, most of whom were forced to leave their homes because of the war.
