Russian forces have struck residential areas and critical infrastructure in Kherson, leaving part of the city without electricity.

Quote from Shanko: "Russian terrorists once again carried out a large-scale strike on the city using multiple launch rocket systems. Residential neighbourhoods and critical infrastructure came under fire. We are currently clarifying information on casualties."

Details: Part of the city has been left without power as a result of the Russian attack.

Power engineers are assessing the extent of damage to the energy infrastructure and will begin emergency repair work, taking the security situation into account.

Later, Kherson City Military Administration reported that one person had been injured in the morning attack. Police took a 75-year-old woman to hospital, where she was diagnosed with blast injuries and an acute stress reaction.

Background: On 27 December, Russian forces struck the roof of a two-storey residential building in the Prymorskyi district of Odesa.
