Kyivteploenergo, a heating distribution company in Kyiv, has deployed mobile boiler rooms to provide heating for hospitals after another Russian attack on the capital's energy infrastructure.

Details: The mobile boiler rooms were connected to six medical facilities in different districts of Kyiv.

They supplied heating to hospitals until stationary heating sources could be repaired.

"The boiler rooms operate on diesel fuel, which ensures their full autonomy for extended periods of time," the authorities said.

Background: DTEK, the largest private energy company in Ukraine, restored power supply to critical infrastructure facilities and all residential buildings in Kyiv following the Russian attack on 27 December. The situation on the left bank of the capital remains more difficult. Scheduled power outages have been introduced on the right bank of the capital.
